When added to cementitious mixes it accelerates hydration and enables the water content to perform more efficiently by dispersing agglomerated cement particles. This further improves strength by enabling water reduction to be made at constant workability. Accelerating Admixture For Unreinforced Cement Concrete/mortar
Uni Plast W is an effective and economical accelerating admixture for use in cold weather concreting applications. Cold temperature may slow down the hydration process and may damage the hardened concrete properties if not treated properly. The slower hydration process can be overcome by the use of this accelerating admixture. Because Uni Plast W contains Calcium Chloride, it is not recommended for use in prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, nor reinforced concrete structures. Concrete can be done in cold weather, Mass concreting under sea water and concrete hollow block manufacturing. Can be used for P.C.C. work, hollow blocks and concrete bricks.

Instruction for Uni Plast W Use
Accelerating Admixture For Unreinforced Cement Concrete/mortar
Add the correct amount of Uni Plast W at the concrete plant. The admixture may be added manually or by automated dispenser directly into the mixture or into the water at the batch plant.
Dosage
To accelerate set times dosage at the rate of 600 ml. to
1500 ml. / 50 kgs. of cement is recommended. The optimum dosage rate should
be determined by site trials.
Packing
supplied in 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 and 200 litre
drums.
Shelf Life & Storage
Uni Plast W has a shelf life of 12 months from date of
manufacture when kept at a temperature between 0 0 5 C to 45 C and store in
the original, unopened bags. All material shall be stored under cover in a
manner that will prevent damage preferable on pallets and protected from
excessive heat and moisture. Do not freeze.
Health & Safety
Uni Plast W is no-toxic and non-flammable. Avoid
inhalation of dust during mixing and wear safety glasses, dust mask and
gloves. If skin contact occurs wash thoroughly with clean water. Should eye
contact occur rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical
