Two component, flexible polymer modified cementitious coating for the protection and waterproofing of concrete surfaces, balconies, terraces, bathrooms and swimming pools.
UNI GUARD A Uses
Two part polymer modified flexible water proof coating
- Waterproofing and protection of concrete structures, renders and cementitious screeds.
- Waterproofing bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces, swimming pools etc. before laying ceramic tile dressing.
- Waterproofing retaining walls or pre-cast concrete elements embedded in the ground.
- Protection of render or concrete with cracks caused by shrinkage, against the infiltration of water and aggressive atmospheric elements.
- Protection of concrete surfaces which may come into contact with sea water, de-icing salts, such as sodium or calcium chloride, and sulphates

Directions for UNI GUARD A Use

Surface preparation
The surface to be treated must be solid and perfectly
clean. Remove all cement laitance, flaky parts and traces of powder,
grease, oil and form release agents. Where cracks are present, cracks must
be treated with CRACKPACK or CRACKPACK AR.
Mixing
Pour liquid in to a suitable clean container. Then
slowly add powder while stirring with a mechanical mixer, carefully mix UNI
GUARD A for a few minutes making sure that no powder remains stuck to the
sides or the bottom of the container. Keep stirring until a perfectly
homogenous mix is obtained. Use a low speed mixer for this operation to
avoid too much air being dragged in to the mix.
Application
The prepared surface must be thoroughly wetted with
water for absorption and excess water to be removed. Apply UNI GUARD A by
brush at a maximum thickness of 1 to 1.5 mm per layer. Successive coats
must only be applied when the previous one is dry. ( after 6 8 hours)
Manual application of the UNI GUARD A must be
applied within 30 mins. of it being mixed.
Cleaning
Tools should be cleaned immediately after use with clean water.

Component A : 10 kg. bags.Component B : 5 ltrs. Jerry can
One pack covers 9 m2 to 13 m2 @ 2mm thickness. Coverage depends upon the substrates.
Shelf Life & Storage
UNI GUARD A has a shelf life of 12 months from date of
manufacture when kept at a temperature between 5 0C to 45 0C and store in
the original, unopened bags. All material shall be stored under cover in a
manner that will prevent damage preferable on pallets and protected from
excessive heat and moisture. Do not freeze.
Health & Safety
UNI GUARD A should not come into contact with skin,
eyes or be swallowed. Protective glasses should be worn during mixing and
application. Should UNI GUARD A come into contact with skin, remove before
hardening by washing with soap and water. Should accidental eye contact
occur wash with plenty of water and seek medical
advice. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately. Do not induce
