Instruction for CRACKPACK PASTE Use

Surface Preparation

The cracks to be sealed shall be saw cut or chiselled to form a 'V' groove of approximately of 6mm x 6mm. The grooves shall be cleaned to remove all the loose particles, dust, etc. The groove shall be sprinkled with clean water before applying the sealing mortar.

Mixing

No mixing required.

Application

The CRACKPACK PASTE is filled into the groove by gloved hand and the surface finished using a trowel. This is continued till the full length of crack is sealed.

Curing

Curing is not required.

Cleaning

Tools may be cleaned with clean water.

Limitations

CRACKPACK PASTE crack sealer/filler cannot be used for moving cracks and for crack width greater than 20 mm.

Packing And Coverage

Packing : 1, 5, & 20 kg. Plastic bucket
Coverage : About 40 running meter for a V groove crack of 6mm x 6mm for 1 kg. pack. The actual coverage may vary depending on the substrate conditions.

Shelf Life & Storage

CRACKPACK PASTE has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture when kept at a temperature between 5 0C to 45 0C and store in the original, unopened bags. All material shall be stored under cover in a manner that will prevent damage preferable on pallets and protected from excessive heat and moisture. Do not freeze.

Health & Safety

CRACKPACK PASTE should not come into contact with skin, eyes or be swallowed. Protective glasses should be worn during mixing and application. Should CRACKPACK PASTE come into contact with skin, remove before hardening by washing with soap and water. Should accidental eye contact occur wash with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
